Exciting News! Germany Extends Job Opportunities with Higher Monthly Rates

Great opportunities are on the horizon as Germany opens its doors once again to welcome new workers, now offering an enhanced monthly rate of up to €2,800 or PHP 165,200! In a recent online announcement by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), it has been revealed that the German Federal Employment Agency’s International Placement Service (ZAV/BA) is urgently seeking 600 skilled workers. This initiative operates under the Triple Win Project, a government-to-government partnership.

The roles in demand span various fields, including but not limited to:

• Cleaners
• Maintenance Staff
• Chefs
• Caregivers
• Drivers
• Forklift Operators

Compensation

Successful candidates will be rewarded with a starting monthly salary of €2,300 / PHP 135,700 (gross, calculated at an exchange rate of 1 Euro to 59 PHP). This rate will then be elevated to €2,800 / PHP 165,200 (gross, exchange rate 1 Euro to 59 PHP) upon recognition as a qualified nurse. Moreover, the employer will bear the expenses related to translating recognition documents and certification, as well as covering medical examination costs. As an additional incentive, a bonus payment of €250 (or equivalent in PESO) awaits those who successfully pass A2 and B1 language levels, each in their first attempt.

Travel and Accommodation

For selected candidates, the employer will cover visa fees and airfare from the Philippines to Germany. In terms of accommodation, the employer will assist in finding suitable boarding options. While the employer may partially or fully assist, the selected nurse will bear the expenses associated with board and lodging.

Eligibility and Prerequisites To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Filipino citizenship and permanent residency
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant professional experience in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, care institutions, or as a private duty nurse
• Proficiency in German language at B1 or B2 level, as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, with certificates issued within the past year
• Willingness to undergo German language training in the Philippines to achieve B1 level (training costs covered by Triple Win)
• Availability to attend language classes in April-May 2022
• Applicants with B1 and B2 certificates issued over a year ago will need to retake the language assessment, with a free refresher course offered by TWP.
